press space when it finishes booting, then hover at the bottom of the screen and the dock should pop up

desktop files arent a thing anymore but I'll probably add them back eventually

you can always just program a desktop application that displays any apps/files that are in the desktop folder

All you need to do is Refresh the page

or clear your cash
